Guided Walks In Dublin

Guided Walks In Dublin

The Best of Dublin Is By The Sea, Not The City

Most visitors to Dublin never leave the city centre and miss out on the natural beauty that makes Dublin so special. So skip the crowded museums and come on a walk by the sea.

Why My Tours Are Different

👋 A Dublin Friend
It’s more like going for a walk with your Irish friend. It's a conversation, not a lecture. We chat about Irish life, history culture, and people.

🎧 No Radios, No Crowds
Last weekend, I joined another group tour in Dublin for research. There were 32 of us, all wearing earpieces. There was no personal connection.

🏘️ Real Dublin, Not the Usual Route
I'm born and raised in Dublin. These are local walks in real Dublin.

🌊 And Yes, the Sea Air Helps
That fresh Dublin Bay breeze clears the head and lifts the mood.

"Darragh was delightful, and so kind! I want to come back and take tour after tour with him"

The Howth Cliffs Tour (Fridays 10am)

Howth Cliff Walk Dublin

Best for coastal views & Dublin's most spectacular photos!

No need to drive hours to see cliffs. They're right here in Dublin. I have family roots in Howth and live nearby.

What You'll Experience:

  • Stunning coastal cliff walk with views across Dublin Bay
  • The fishing village with its trawlers & restaurants
  • Look for Fish & Chips, the pair of friendly harbor seals
  • Never get lost on these confusing cliff paths

The Village Tour (Saturdays, 10am)

St Anne's Park Dublin

This is Local Dublin!! Unique & Off The Beaten Path

Experience a real Dublin Saturday morning. Walk through my village, its farmers market, St. Anne's Park, and Bull Island beach. This is where I live - and where tourists never go.

What You'll Experience:

  • Village, park and beach walk with city & mountain views
  • Vibrant farmers market selling food picked yesterday
  • Dublin's best park (St. Anne's)
  • Local kids playing hurling, our national sport
  • Bull Island. A UNESCO Biosphere with stunning views
"Darragh was such a great guide! Excellent communication throughout and he even made a video to help make sure I got to our meeting point easily and could recognize him. It was really special to see Dublin through the eyes of a local who has a lot of love for and knowledge about his community. The tours were exactly the experience I wanted; a mix of walking, history, chatting and beautiful scenery"

The Sea Tour

I think this is the best of all the walks!

This is the most beautiful walk. If you have one day in Dublin. Do this!

Walk the stunning South Dublin coast from Dún Laoghaire to Dalkey & Killiney. Watch the famous Forty Foot winter swimmers, explore Ireland's most expensive village, walk Dublin's Beverly Hills and discover why locals love '99' ice cream from Teddy's.

What You'll Experience:

  • Dún Laoghaire harbor & Sunday market
  • The famous Forty Foot sea swimming spot
  • Dalkey village, home to celebrities & cafes
  • Killiney Hill with the best views in Dublin (the Sorrento of Ireland!)
  • Legendary Teddy's ice cream

"The Sea Tour by Darragh is fantastic. He is full of local history and very patient with us slower walkers. High recommend as you see the REAL Ireland!!"

The City Tour

Dublin's streets twist and turn in a thousand year old maze. People have gotten lost before. This is good tour to do on your first day to get your bearings.

I'll guide you through the confusion to the places that matter - whether you're interested in history, shopping, museums, breweries, distilleries, food or just soaking up the atmosphere of real Dublin beyond the tourist traps.

The Jetlag Buster Tour

Just landed from a red eye flight? I do a shorter 2 hours jet lag buster tour to keep you energized. Plenty of coffee stops along the way and no boring stuff to make you nod off.

The City & Jetlag Buster tours are only available as a private option. Email me or click the link below and then click "Book A Private Tour" at the top of the page when it opens.
